Superman Returns
They couldn’t have picked a more ‘appropriate’ lead for the role of the new & improved Superman. That Routh guy… man-oh-man, for a moment there I forgot I was married! He’s a fine bloke to begin with, but with that outfit on… My-Oh-My!
Growing up as a tomboy (thank’s Papa, for treating me as a ’son’), I was surrounded by superhero icons… from Batman-Superman-Spiderman to Jap’s Voltus & Goggle 5 (did I spell it right? Oh well…) you name it. My dad would bring back from the US superhero comic books, videos, posters, even floaties. By the time I was 10, I was madly in love with a Jap cartoon character called Kenichi, for God’s sake!
So watching Superman Returns at 30 really took me back. I found myself as a 7 year-old girl drooling all over him again. I was totally like, "My hero…"
Roger, my husband who thinks he could be the next ‘dark’ Superman, was understandably jealous; Yet, he was prepared to purchase an XXL Superman outfit for him to put on… for my amusement 
in private, of course.
The things he’d do for me… Love him!
